1. Current services and existing agreements

Standalone paid route reviews and route builds are no longer offered. Existing accepted services remain subject to their original written agreement. Private-tour arrangements, inclusions, price and payment conditions are confirmed in writing before booking.

2. What is not included

An enquiry does not include bookings, ticket holds or support during travel. The written trip agreement identifies what Homeground will arrange and what the traveller will arrange.

3. Full-trip planning and support

A Full Trip Planning & Ground Support submission starts a planning conversation. Homeground first clarifies the route, travellers, priorities and support required.

If the request moves forward, the written proposal identifies the services, responsible provider, contracting party, scope, price and payment recipient before payment.

4. Written confirmation before payment

This website does not currently provide online checkout. Never submit payment credentials through the enquiry form.

  • The registered operator and service
  • Confirmed scope and exclusions
  • Total price and currency
  • Materials required from the traveller
  • Delivery date and format
  • Included corrections or revisions
  • Payment recipient and method
  • Cancellation, refund and delivery terms

5. Traveller responsibilities

Provide complete and accurate trip information, clearly mark existing bookings and deadlines, and tell us promptly if dates, party, destinations or constraints change. Only share material you have the right to use.

Do not submit passport or ID images, bank or card details, payment QR codes or unredacted booking references through the website form.

6. Delivery and corrections

Delivery follows the date stated in the written confirmation after both payment and required materials are complete. Report clear errors or omissions within the agreed scope promptly. They are handled under the Refund & delivery policy and the transaction confirmation.

7. Changing travel information

Transport, opening hours, availability, weather, entry rules and third-party prices can change. A consultation may identify items to recheck, but it does not guarantee admission, inventory, fares, weather or third-party performance.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Personal use

A paid route document is licensed for the traveller’s personal trip planning. It may be shared with the traveller’s own companions and relevant booked providers, but may not be resold, republished or presented as another planner’s work.

9. Attraction reservation service

Homeground reserves attraction admission for travellers in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Chengdu, Guilin, Lijiang and Datong by submitting each reservation through the official channel the attraction names, in each traveller's own real name and passport. We do not use automated booking tools or multiple accounts, do not resell tickets or add a mark-up, and charge admission at the attraction's official face value; each attraction's own real-name, cancellation and no-show rules apply.

Price: a service fee of CNY 45 per person per attraction, plus admission charged at the attraction's official face value with no mark-up, paid together after written confirmation. Reservations for attractions in a confirmed Homeground private-tour itinerary are included without a service fee.

  • Guaranteed booking: if the request, the payment and complete passport details for every traveller all reach Homeground at least 8 days before the visit date, Homeground guarantees the reservation. If we fail to secure it, the service fee and the ticket money for that attraction are refunded in full.
  • If the request, the payment or any traveller's passport details reach Homeground later than 8 days before the visit, the booking is attempted but not guaranteed. If a slot cannot be secured, the service fee for that attraction is refunded in full, together with any ticket money not spent.
  • After a ticket is issued, changes and cancellations follow the attraction's own rules, and the service fee for that ticket is not refundable.
  • Entry is decided by the attraction and normally requires the original passport used for the booking, security checks and the reserved time slot.
  • Passport details are requested only after the written confirmation is accepted and, for the booking to be guaranteed, must reach Homeground no later than 8 days before the visit. They are used only for the reservation and handled under the Privacy notice.

10. Privacy and contact

Personal information is handled under the Privacy notice. Questions about a transaction should be sent to hello@homegroundchina.com with the enquiry or order reference.
