For two travellers, the four 14-day routes work out to about USD 271–285 per person per day. The 11-day Beijing–Hangzhou–Suzhou–Shanghai route comes in lower at about USD 245 a day: it uses trains and a private car, with no domestic flights. The 15-day Silk Road route is about USD 306 a day.
