Every 2027 China small-group departure

A place on Homeground's 2027 China small groups starts at USD 2,790 per person, sharing a room; international flights are extra. There are 10 departures across four routes between April and October, with 8–12 people on each. We check the numbers 45 days before departure. If fewer than eight guests have booked, you can take back everything paid to us or ask for a written private-tour quote for your own party on the same dates.

How the group rules work

• Eight booked guests confirm the departure; twelve is the maximum.
• We check numbers 45 days before departure. Below eight, you choose a full refund of everything paid to us or request a written private-tour quote for your own party on the same dates.
• The table assumes two people share a room. Solo guests pay the single-room supplement and have their own room, and on the Yangtze route their own cabin too; we do not pair strangers.
• If your own party has 8–12 people, you can choose the date and still pay the small-group rate.
• Until the departure is confirmed, choose international flights you can change or refund.

What a small group includes

Breakfast is included each hotel night. The hotel plan follows the matching private route: four-star or Trip.com 4-diamond where available, with suitable local hotels at some smaller stops. In each city, the group has an English-speaking local guide and a vehicle on touring days; the named sights and the route's listed trains, flights or cruise are covered too. One arrival and one departure transfer are included on the group dates, with no shopping stops. On the Li River day, you cruise about four hours to Yangshuo while your luggage travels there by vehicle.

Small group or private tour?

Fixed dates work well for a solo guest or couple who likes company on the road. If you have children or older parents, a private departure lets the guide adjust the walking and the start time for your party.
