Are these private tours or fixed small groups?
Most published routes are private: the guide and vehicle serve only you and your companions. The routes explicitly labelled ‘small group’ have fixed dates and are shared with other booked guests. Some private routes also use public trains, cruises or transport within attractions; those shared elements are listed on the product page and in the written confirmation. We confirm the format, scope and price before payment and never move you into a shared group without your agreement.
What happens after I contact you?
A planner first understands the problem you need to solve. If continuing together makes sense, we confirm the service, scope and price before any paid work begins.
Who looks after us in China?
One planner stays with you from your first message to your last day, and you can reach them anytime during the trip. Your guide and driver are our own, and we never hand your trip to another agency. Before work starts, we confirm in writing what we arrange and what you keep booking yourself.
Can you plan around children, parents or limited mobility?
Yes. Tell us early about walking, stairs, early starts, room setup, food requirements or rest needs. These conditions directly shape the route and each day’s schedule.
Can I get in touch if I only have a rough idea?
Yes. Start with your dates, party size and any cities already decided. We can work through what is still open in the conversation.
What if flights, hotels or part of the trip are already booked?
You do not need to start over. We work around confirmed arrangements and point out possible timing conflicts, demanding transfers or missing pieces.
Can Homeground help with only one part of the trip?
Yes. You can ask us to look at the whole trip or only the part that is hardest to arrange, such as the city combination, transport connections, where to stay or one specific stretch of the journey.
