Kunming is used as the arrival and departure base. - 02Day 2
Visit the open Stone Forest route, then continue south to Jianshui for the night. The guide chooses a workable path for the group's walking ability.

See confirmed Jianshui sites such as Zhu Family Garden, the Confucian Temple or Double Dragon Bridge, then drive to Yuanyang for the first terrace window.

Spend a full day among open terrace viewpoints and one confirmed village. Viewpoint order changes with cloud, light, road access and local life.

Use the morning for a second weather-aware terrace or market window, then return to Kunming. A sunrise is attempted only when conditions and departure time support it.

Days 2–5 include private English-speaking guide, driver, vehicle, named first admissions and required local shuttles. Korean pages use a Korean-speaking guide at the same base price, subject to availability.
Before you choose
How much does this 6-day Yuanyang tour cost per person?
Per person: USD 1,120 for 2 travellers, USD 1,060 for 4 and USD 1,030 for 6. In a larger group more people share the private guide, driver and vehicle, so each person pays less. These are starting prices; hotels, seasonal supplements and the final total are confirmed in writing for your dates before you pay.
What does the price include?
Five nights with breakfast in twin rooms (Kunming 2, Jianshui 1, Yuanyang 2), transfers on Days 1 and 6, and on Days 2–5 a private English-speaking guide, driver, vehicle, basic entry tickets to the listed sights and required local shuttles. A Korean-speaking guide costs the same, subject to availability. No shopping stops.
What is not included?
Flights and any intercity transport not named in your confirmation; lunches, dinners and drinks unless listed; travel insurance, visas, tips, single-room supplements and holiday surcharges. Photography permits, private village activities and any sunrise transfer not in your confirmation are also extra.
Will we see a sunrise, cloud sea or reflections on the terraces?
We can't promise any of them. Two nights in Yuanyang give you more than one weather window, and a sunrise is attempted only when conditions and your departure time allow. Terrace water and colour change by season; the main photo on this page was taken in December.
What if someone in our group walks slowly or finds stairs hard?
At the Stone Forest, the guide chooses a path that suits your group's walking ability. In Yuanyang, your room's location, stairs, heating or cooling and view are confirmed before you pay.

Send your dates, rooming, arrival details and luggage count. We confirm hotels, transport, guide language, seasonal supplements and the final total in writing before you pay. Prices are shown in USD; the payment currency and exchange rate are confirmed in that written quote.
