How much is it per person, and what's included?
From USD 1,459 per person for 2 travellers, USD 1,180 for 4 and USD 1,150 for 6. It covers 4 nights in a Ctrip 4-Diamond hotel with breakfast (twin sharing), an English-speaking guide and heated vehicle on Days 2–4, and adult tickets to the listed sights, including Ice and Snow World. Flights, lunches and dinners are extra.
Which travel dates does this price cover?
Only Sunday–Thursday check-ins from 6 January to 5 February 2027, on non-holiday dates after the main ice attractions have opened. Friday or Saturday stays, Christmas, New Year, Spring Festival, major Ice Festival weekends or different operating dates need a new quote. Other group sizes are priced individually.
How cold will it be, and what should we bring?
Harbin can fall below −20°C, so bring professional cold-weather clothing, insulated snow boots, gloves and face protection (not included). Heated vehicles, hot water and heat patches help but don't replace that gear. Outdoor time may be shortened or cancelled for wind chill, ice conditions or an operator safety decision.
Do we go out onto the frozen Songhua River?
Yes, on Day 2, but only for a named, managed ice-and-snow activity that its operator confirms is open that day. You never go onto unmanaged river ice.
What is the winter culture visit on Day 3?
Before you pay, your written confirmation names Volga Manor and one specific alternative winter-culture programme, and you choose one of the two. We don't sell Day 3 as an unnamed 'comparable programme'.
Is it private, and which days have a guide?
Yes. The vehicle and guide serve only your group, which is why 2 travellers pay more per person than 6. On Day 1 your English-speaking guide meets you and helps you check in; Days 2–4 have the guide and a heated vehicle. Day 5 is a driver transfer to the airport or station, with no guide or sightseeing. No shopping stops.
