Visit Chengdu Panda Base early, followed by one city-life experience set out in your confirmation. Which pandas you see, and how active they are, can vary.
Chengdu Panda Base - 03Day 3
Your private vehicle takes you to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha on the land route or by boat, whichever your confirmation names—we can't promise both. River and path access depend on operating conditions.
Leshan Giant Buddha - 04Day 4
Take the second-class high-speed train to Chongqing, with transfers at both stations. After check-in, head out to a selected Chongqing night view if timing and local conditions allow.

Travel to Wulong and visit the Three Natural Bridges, using the scenic transport and lifts named in your confirmation that are running on the day. Overnight in Wulong.
We check which paths, lifts and scenic transport are open on your travel date. - 06Day 6
Choose one light Wulong activity for the season, as set out in your confirmation, then return to Chongqing by private vehicle. We don't squeeze in another major sight when time is short.

Your private vehicle takes you from Chongqing to the Dazu Rock Carvings sites in your confirmation. Visit with your English-speaking guide and return to your Chongqing hotel the same day.

Your private vehicle takes you to the Chongqing airport or railway station. There is no fixed sightseeing today.

Every paid Wulong and Dazu item is named in your written confirmation.

How much does this 8-day Chengdu and Chongqing tour cost?
Starting prices per person are USD 1,520 for 2 travellers and USD 1,490 for 6. Other group sizes and the single-room supplement are quoted separately. We confirm the hotels, transport, guide coverage, any seasonal supplements and the final total in writing before you pay.
What does the price include?
Private transport, seven four-star-standard hotel nights with breakfast and tax (two sharing), the listed admissions and scenic transfers, second-class Chengdu–Chongqing rail, a private English-speaking guide, basic China-based travel and health insurance and 24/7 local support. Lunches, dinners and tips are extra.
Do we see the Leshan Giant Buddha on foot or by boat?
Your confirmation names one: the land route or the boat view. We can't promise both, and river and path access depend on operating conditions.
How do we travel between the cities?
Chengdu to Chongqing is by second-class high-speed train, with transfers at both stations. Otherwise you travel by private vehicle, including the Leshan and Dazu day trips and the Wulong section.
What is covered at Wulong's Three Natural Bridges?
On Day 5 you tour the Three Natural Bridges using the scenic transport and lifts named in your confirmation that are running that day, then stay the night in Wulong. Every paid Wulong item is listed in writing; unlisted Wulong sights are not included. If time is short on Day 6, we don't squeeze in another major sight.
Will the pandas be active when we visit Chengdu?
You visit Chengdu Panda Base early on Day 2. Which pandas you see, and how active they are, can vary.

The published per-person starting prices apply to 2 or 6 travellers; the single-room supplement and other group sizes require a separate quote.
