Day by day

See how each day unfolds.

Arrival, core touring and departure are shown day by day. Opening hours, named-entry tickets and local conditions may change the order. If anything important needs to change, we discuss it with you.

  1. 01Day 1

Your private driver meets you at the Beijing airport or railway station and takes you and your luggage to your hotel. On the English-guided version, your guide also helps with the arrival transfer and hotel check-in; the no-guide version has driver pickup and remote support. No sightseeing is planned today, so you have time to settle in for your first night in Beijing.

  2. 02Day 2

Your private vehicle takes you from the hotel to the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, visited in the order your reservations allow. Your chosen version, guided or no-guide, applies throughout; afterwards, back to the same Beijing hotel.

Start before dawn for the flag-raising if you would like to see it, then Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in your booked time slots. Prince Kung's Mansion and Shichahai or Houhai follow if your pace allows; we won't force every stop into the day. Back to the same Beijing hotel afterwards.

Optional wall transport is not included unless it is written into your confirmation.

Travel made seamless

Hotels, guides and transfers work together.

Your hotel level, guided days, transfers, route transport and principal admissions are planned together. We check availability for your dates before payment.

01

Stay

Four nights in a breakfast-included Ctrip 4-Diamond–rated Beijing hotel, based on twin sharing. We confirm the exact hotel, room arrangement and any single supplement for your booking.

02

Guide, transport and admissions

Both versions include private airport or railway-station transfers, air-conditioned private vehicles on the three touring days, listed adult admission tickets, booking support, liability cover and drinking water. The English-guided version includes an English-speaking guide on Days 2–4 and guide assistance during arrival and departure transfers. The no-guide version has driver transfers and remote support, with no on-site guide or interpretation. No shopping stops.

Before you choose

What changes between the guided and no-guide versions?

The guided version includes an English-speaking guide on sightseeing Days 2–4 and guide assistance with arrival and departure transfers on Days 1 and 5. The no-guide version keeps private driver transfers, listed adult admissions, reservations and remote support, with no on-site guide or interpretation.

Which Great Wall section is included, and are cable cars covered?

This route visits Badaling, not Mutianyu. Great Wall cable cars, slide rail and shuttle buses are not in the base price; optional wall transport is included only when it is written into your confirmation.

What if the Forbidden City or Tiananmen reservations sell out?

We book Tiananmen and the Forbidden City in each traveller's passport name as soon as booking opens. If we can't secure them for your dates, you get back everything you have paid, in full. Your reservation times and your group's pace decide which other stops fit that day.

Clear before payment

What is separate—and what your written quote will confirm.

Choose the English-guided or no-guide version first. Tiananmen and Forbidden City availability, hotel, vehicle, arrival airport and luggage capacity must be reconfirmed for your dates before payment. The per-person starting prices shown are for groups of 2, 4 and 6 travellers, flights not included; we confirm other group sizes individually. Send us your dates, room needs, arrival details and luggage count, and we will confirm availability and send your final quote before you pay.

Not included

  • International and domestic flights
  • Lunches and dinners
  • Personal travel insurance, visas, tips and personal expenses
  • Room upgrades or extra single rooms
  • Holiday surcharges; late-night, overtime and other services not in your booked itinerary
  • Great Wall cable car, slide rail and shuttle bus
  • Daxing Airport (PKX) transfer difference

Confirmed in writing

  • Your dates, arrival and departure details
  • The hotel, room arrangement and vehicle for the actual group
  • Bookable admissions and the final total before payment

Deposit, changes and cancellation

Deposit and balance
A 30% deposit confirms your private tour, and you pay the rest after you arrive in China. We add no fee of our own; card payments through VBill carry a 4% fee charged by VBill.
Cancelling 60 days or more before departure
We keep 10% of the tour price for planning and booking, and refund the rest of what you paid us.
Cancelling 30–59 days before departure
We keep 20% of the tour price and refund the rest of what you paid us.
Cancelling less than 30 days before departure
The deposit is not refunded.
Costs we cannot recover
If costs already paid out and not refundable, such as a non-refundable hotel, are higher than the amount above, we keep the actual cost instead.
Card fee
The 4% fee VBill charges on card payments is not refunded in any case; refunds cover what you paid to us.
Visa refused
Send us the official refusal notice and we treat the cancellation as 60 days or more before departure: we keep 10% of the tour price.
Changing dates, travellers or the route
We re-price the trip first. Any loss already incurred, such as hotel or ticket change fees, is charged at cost for each change.
If we cannot deliver
If a confirmed hotel, guide, vehicle or ticket falls through on our side, we arrange an equivalent or better alternative. If that is not possible or you do not accept it, we refund that item in full.
Forbidden City and Tiananmen
On private tours that include Beijing, if we cannot book the Forbidden City or Tiananmen, we refund everything you have paid us, provided we have your passport details at least 8 days before the Forbidden City visit.
