The shape of the journey
Two nights in Guilin and two in Yangshuo, with private transfers, three English-guided touring days, the Li River cruise and luggage moved separately on cruise day.
Day by day
Arrival, core touring and departure are shown day by day. Opening hours, named-entry tickets and local conditions may change the order. If anything important needs to change, we discuss it with you.
Your English-speaking guide and private driver meet you at Guilin airport or railway station and take you and your luggage to your Guilin hotel. The guide helps with the transfer and check-in; there is no sightseeing today, so you can settle in. Overnight in Guilin.
After checking out of your Guilin hotel, you are driven to the Li River pier to board the cruise to Yangshuo. Your luggage goes separately by road under the written handover plan; once you step off the boat, continue to your Yangshuo hotel for the night.
Your guide and local private transport take you from your Yangshuo hotel into the Yulong River countryside. Follow a gentle route and do one simple family activity or some light cycling, whichever has been arranged for your group, then head back to the same Yangshuo hotel for your second night.
Check out with your luggage in the private vehicle and drive back to Guilin. Visit Reed Flute Cave or Elephant Trunk Hill—only one of the two is included, as set out in your written confirmation—then check in at your Guilin hotel for the final night.
Check out and travel with your luggage by private vehicle to the airport or railway station, with your English-speaking guide assisting on the transfer. There is no sightseeing today, so the day is kept clear for your departure.

Two nights in Guilin and two in Yangshuo, all in Ctrip 4-Diamond–rated hotels with breakfast. The 2-, 4- and 6-traveller prices shown are based on twin sharing; we confirm any other room arrangement individually.
Included: private arrival and departure transfers with English-speaking guide assistance on Days 1 and 5; English-guided sightseeing on Days 2–4; the Li River cruise, with your luggage moved separately that day; air-conditioned private road transport; and the listed adult admission for one Day 4 sight. Day 3 includes one simple family activity or gentle cycling, chosen to suit your group—a basic local experience rather than a named premium programme, and bamboo rafting is not a given. No shopping stops.
Yes—the Day 2 cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is included, and your luggage goes separately by road under a written handover plan. Before you pay, we confirm the sailing, cabin class, pier and luggage handover with you.
Two nights in a row free up Day 3 for the Yulong River countryside, with no hotel change. This five-day route then returns to Guilin and does not include the Longji Rice Terraces. If you'd like to add Longji, we would need to look again at the route, timing and quote.
The Li River cruise is included; bamboo-raft upgrades are extra. Day 3 includes one simple family activity or gentle cycling, chosen to suit your group. Day 4 includes Reed Flute Cave or Elephant Trunk Hill—only one, as set out in your written confirmation, not both.
